Los Placeres del 5 O’clock
THE PLEASURES OF 5 O’CLOCK
UNAM-UK ANIMATION INDENTS
The Centre for Mexican Studies in the United Kingdom is an academic outpost of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), hosted by King’s College London.

This project consisted in the development of 3 short animation indents for the different programs the University has in the UK offices.

This is the first one of the 3.
Los Placeres del 5 O'clock
Los Placeres del 5 o’clock is a program about Mexican writers who live in the United Kingdom.
As the program it is about writers, the Animation was drawn inside a book.
The name comes from the poem “La Duquesa de Job” (1884) (The Duchess of Job) by Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera. It refers to the famous 5 o’clock tea in England. This is the reason why the cup of tea transforms into a clock.
